Back in about oh.. 2008something, I started a long and what seems to be an endless relationship with the game, World of Warcraft. Since I’ve been introduced to the game I’ve played nearly every class. One of the first classes/specs I’ve played was a Restoration druid, of the Night Elf breed of course! And since I have started playing her, there a few things about the healing druids that makes it just a little easier than all the other healing classes.
1. No need to cast expensive spells.
Druids are HoT (Healing over Time) based healers. And though you have to make sure your HoTs are always up, the mana cost is rather low. To this day, I don’t think I’ve ever ran of mana with this druid. It’s crazy how much money I’ve saved from just not having to buy a lot of drinks/mana pots.
2. HoTs lets you do other things with your evening.
HoT healing gives you time to tend to other things in life, like making food, eating food. Maybe taking a nap during the raid. No seriously, put life bloom and rejuvenation up and you have so much more free time. It’s crazy.
3. Good, easy healing.
Some people don’t think so, and some people think druid healing isn’t good.. but honestly, I’ve never had any luck with any other healing class and overall, I’ve always out healed my healing counterparts. And Druid healing is stupid easy! HoTs people, HoTs. Throw up HoTs, throw up some more, and you’re done.
